Abstract

This paper contains a description of the content on the Special Issue (SI) on Deep Learning.  In the document, we describe the papers appearing on the SI, assessing their importance briefly. We organize the paper by broad categories, which include medical applications, natural systems, autonomous agents, and emotion analysis. The scope of the accepted documents gives an indicator of the more active areas in Latin America.
