An adaptive human computer interface for people with motor disabilities in the upper limbs is presented in this paper. Namely IOM (Interface Ocular Mouse), the low cost hardware and software based interface is composed by a smart glasses with integrated sensors to detect the head movements and the eyes blink. With a customized and friendly graphical design, a computer interface allows to the user the adjust of the platform usability as well as a total computer control. Preliminary experimental results shows that the proposed platform attends to the usability aspect to computer requisites for people with disabilities. Furthermore, we evaluated the User Experience using the AttrakDiff platform. The IOM device was well evaluated from the end-user perspective. Emphasizing desirable characteristics such as creativity and innovation in the criteria related to the dimension of hedonic quality and good, in the criteria of attractiveness.
